Handleless kitchens in London, Kent and the UK. Flush fitting kitchen doors for the sleekest of looks.
New this year the LINE N kitchen collection from Nobilia creates a linear and uniform appearance. These truly handleless kitchens are available in white, ivory, sand, magma and mineral grey all in both matt and gloss finishes. We can supply and install in London, Kent and S.E England or supply anywhere in the UK.
What is the difference between handleless kitchen doors and those with integrated handles?
Well, we sell both and like them equally but they are not quite the same. Doors and drawers with an integrated handle usually have a J shaped finger pull set into the top profile of each fascia.either in the same colour as the door or a contrasting finish like brushed steel.
Handleless kitchens like LINE N have a horizontal recess between the door and worktop that seamlessly runs for the entire length of the kitchen resulting in a smooth continuous profile, the doors and drawers are perfectly square, laser edged and without adornment. On tall units like appliance housings and larders the recess runs vertically, from the top to the bottom of the units, giving optimum ergonomic performance because your height does not matter - the 'handle' is in the right place for you.
So, they are not the same and one is not better than the other, just different, and it comes down to your own preferred style for your kitchen.
Look at how the worktops accentuate the linear appearance of the island on the left. They mirror the simplicity of the handleless fronts creating a pure, minimilastic environment.
You could use a number of materials to achieve this look but we have some exceptional quality 16mm laminate worktops that perfectly compliment the colours available in LINE N.
LINE N kitchens look especially good with very thin worktops.
What are the benefits of a handleless kitchen design?
1. If you are tight for space you should consider installing a handle-less kitchen in a white or light colour. It will make your room look larger, cleaner and more appealing to the eye.
2. There is less chance of snagging clothes with no handles in the kitchen.
3. If you choose high line units that house any drawers required behind kitchen doors you will create a streamlined kitchen with very little detail that will, hygenic and easy to keep clean.
4. Large kitchens with railing handles can sometimes look all handle, they dominate the design - going for a handleless option means a far less cluttered installation.
